Minnesota Expecting Healthy Economic Growth this Spring
Undated (KROC-AM News) - A respected report continues to predict healthy economic growth in Minnesota over the next few months.
The January Mid-America Business Condition Survey of business supply managers put the state’s overall economic index at 55.8, which remains solidly in the range that projects growth even though it slid a point from December’s reading of 56.8. While the overall index was down slightly last month, the employment component rose almost 5 points to a strong reading of 57.8.
The author of the reported noted Minnesota’s manufacturing growth has been below most of the other states included in the survey, it has also been less volatile when compared to the entire region.
