Indictment: Minnesota Felon Busted With Explosives, Destructive Devices & Ammunition
Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota man has been indicted in a federal weapons possession case.

A news release issued by the U.S. Attorney’s Office of Minnesota says he has prior felony convictions in two counties located within the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.
The investigation that led to the indictment involved local and federal law enforcement agencies.

Stillwater Felon Indicted After Being Busted With Destructive Devices, Explosives & Ammunition
Federal Court documents allege authorities caught 46-year-old Wayne Robert Lund of Stillwater in possession of eight unregistered destructive devices, explosives and hundreds of rounds of ammunition.
The news release does not describe the nature of the seized devices. Lund was caught with the prohibited items on Nov. 2 of this year.
The circumstances regarding the discovery are not disclosed in the news release. Under federal law, Lund’s prior felony convictions prohibit him from possessing guns, ammunition and explosives, the news release says.
The indictment charges Lund with one count of possession of unregistered firearms, one count of possessing explosives as a felon, one count of possessing firearms as a felon, and one count of possession of ammunition as a felon.
Lund made his initial court appearance on Dec. 11 and was ordered to remain in custody pending further proceedings following a detention hearing on Monday.
