It's a good time to be a nurse!  Of all the occupations out there, the nursing industry is expected to grow the fastest through 2024.

With National Nurses week coming up, the website Wallethub.com analyzed the best and worst states for nurses.  Among the criteria used was starting pay, number of health care facilities per capita, job openings, work hours, 14 different criteria in all.

Minnesota ranked number 7 among all 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Which state was the best?  Washington.  Iowa was 5th best.  On the other end, Hawaii, Louisiana and the District of Columbia.

It's a good time to appreciate the many nurses in this town and everywhere who provide such great care and dedication to their profession.
