
Minnesota Man Airlifted to Hospital After Construction Mishap

Sauk Centre, MN (KROC-AM News) - A construction worker suffered serious injuries in a workplace accident in central Minnesota on Thursday.
The Stearns County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded around 3:20 PM after receiving a 911 call about a man falling from scaffolding while working on the side of the building in a rural area south of Sauk Center. The caller reported the victim suffered head and facial injuries in the fall from a height of about 15 feet.
The responding deputies were told the man was standing on wood scaffolding that was lifted in the air by a Telehandler. He was working on attaching the fascia near the top of a shed when he fell.
The victim was airlifted by a LifeLink helicopter to a hospital in St. Cloud for treatment. The Sheriff's Office identified him as 22-year-old Jeffrey Zimmerman of Brooten. Information about his medical condition is not available.
