Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Minivan at St. Paul Intersection
St. Paul, MN (KROC-AM News) - The St. Paul Police Department is reporting that a pedestrian was struck and killed at the intersection Friday evening.
The deadly incident occurred around 6:30 PM in a residential neighborhood on the east side of St. Paul just west of a large 3M distribution center. St. Paul police say the victim was an adult male who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The preliminary investigation indicates the victim was walking on a street when the driver of the minivan made a left turn from an intersecting street and struck him. The news release on the incident says the adult man driving the minivan remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
The name of the victim has not been released and the circumstances of the fatal incident remain under investigation.
