5-Year-Old Rochester Girl Dies in SUV-Semi Crash

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has identified the 5-year-old girl who died in a deadly crash earlier this week on the north edge of Rochester.

Crash Happened Wednesday on Rochester's North Edge

The collision, which involved a semi-truck and a small SUV, occurred on 75th Street Northwest near the new roundabout intersection with 18th Avenue Northwest around 5:15 p.m. Wednesday. The State Patrol says the two vehicles were traveling in opposite directions when they collided.

State Patrol Identifies 5-Year-Old Crash Victim

All four occupants of the smaller vehicle were transported to St. Marys Hospital, where the young child died from her injuries. She has been identified as 5-year-old Emmric Kehoe of Rochester.

Passenger Suffered Life-Threatening Injuries

Another passenger in the SUV, 34-year-old Brittany Marie Kehoe of Rochester, suffered what the State Patrol described as life-threatening injuries. An infant passenger, 1-year-old Eaghan Kehoe, and the driver, 34-year-old Jordan Kehoe of Rochester, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt. He has been identified as 43-year-old Justin Tentis of Elgin.

All Occupants Were Using Seat Belts or Child Restraints

The State Patrol crash report indicates everyone involved in the tragic incident was using a seat belt or child restraint device and that alcohol was not involved.
