
Minnesota Man Injured in Personal Watercraft Explosion
Garrison, MN (Learfield News Service) - A man is hospitalized after a personal watercraft explosion Friday on a central Minnesota lake near Garrison.
Witnesses told Crow Wing County deputies the 46-year-old man was trying to start the PWC when gas fumes ignited and it exploded, throwing him in the air.
The victim had a life jacket on and was able to swim to a dock where he was helped to shore. He was taken to Milles Lacs Health for treatment of unknown injuries.
The man's name hasn't been released.
