Minnesota Man Struck by SUV and Critically Injured
Columbia Heights, MN (KROC-AM News) - A pedestrian was critically injured last night on a busy roadway in the Twin Cities.
The State Patrol says the incident was reported around 9:15 PM in Columbia Heights. Investigators reported that a Minneapolis man was driving south on Highway 65 when a pedestrian ran out onto the four-lane divided thoroughfare and was struck by the vehicle.

The pedestrian, identified as 44-year-old Cody Bennett of Anoka, was transported by ambulance to North Memorial Hospital with life threatening injuries.
The SUV driver, 68-year-old Ronald Hyska, was not hurt.
