Minnesota Motorcyclist Killed After Leaving Exit Ramp
Newport, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Minnesota motorcyclist was killed after crashing at a Twin Cities interchange Friday evening.

The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly before 6 p.m. It happened at the Hwy. 61/I-494 interchange in the southeastern metro town of Newport.
The state crash report indicates the motorcycle was northbound on Hwy. 61, took the exit ramp to I-494 then went off the roadway and entered the ditch. The operator is described as a 49-year-old Woodbury man.
His name has not been released. He was the sole person involved in the deadly crash.
The State Patrol plans to disclose more information regarding the deadly crash at a later time.
