Yelp recently came out with their annual list of the best new restaurants across the US for 2025. There are tons and tons of new restaurants that have opened in the last year, I can't imagine it's easy to pick the few best of the best.

But nevertheless, they did, and there's one Minnesota restaurant that landed on their list!

Yelp's Best New Restaurants for 2025

Yelp writes that restaurants that make this list are "top dining destinations, cutting-edge menus, and creative experiences, as ranked by Yelp data and community reviews".

So based on our feedback and also based on Yelp's own research, they narrowed it down to the 25 best new restaurants of the year.

This year, coming in at number 6 on the list, is Bûcheron in Minneapolis.

Bûcheron Named One of the Best New Restaurants for 2025

This isn't the first time Bûcheron has gotten an award this year. Earlier in 2025, they also won the James Beard Award for best new restaurant.

Yelp writes that a "homespun approach to high-end dining has earned Bûcheron a parade of accolades".

Chef Adam Ritter and Hospitality Director Jeanie Janas Ritter, Bûcheron’s married owners, honed their skills at Michelin-starred restaurants before opening this “cozy nook,” where they serve what Jeanie calls “modern bistronomy.”

Their food "celebrates locally sourced favorites" and what fits the season.

Also, their dining room is TINY. There are only 12 tables inside and 7 on the patio. As you can imagine, these reservations go fast. If you want to check them out, reservations become available at 10 AM on the first day of the month for reservations for the following month.

They also have 10 bar seats that are for walk-ins, but you'd have to get awfully lucky to snag one of those.

Every 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives' Episode that Features a Minnesota Restaurant

One of the most popular shows on Food Network is easily 'Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives'. Guy Fieri has come to Minnesota for many episodes. Here are the ones that feature Minnesota restaurants.
