Minnesota Had Nearly 60 UFO Sightings Reported In 2025 – Here’s Where

The number of reported UFO sightings in Minnesota in 2025 was substantial, with nearly 60 reports being filed by people around the state.

Data submitted to the self-reporting National UFO Reporting Center website saw a total of 59 reports from Minnesota for 2025, which is less than the 68 reports in 2024, but more than the 45 reports from 2023.

As you read through the submissions from people around the state, you'll see that some of these reports were just things observers weren't able to identify, but the team from the NUFORC was later able to help provide an explanation for. Other sightings are completely unexplainable, leaving lots of questions as to what it was the observer actually saw.

As in years past, reports came in from all over Minnesota, including a few from Duluth, one from St. Cloud, and others from places like Winona, Glencoe, Bemidji, the Iron Range, and several from the Twin Cities area.

Just like sightings across the border in Wisconsin last year, January 2025 proved to be the most active month of the year. There were a total of 12 reports from January 2025, with November being the second-busiest month for sightings, with 11 reports.
