People go to the Minnesota State Fair for a variety of different reasons but one of the main things people go for is the delicious food. State Fair officials just released their top-earning food vendors from the 2021 "Great Minnesota Get Together" and to no one’s surprise, Sweet Martha was #1. You might be surprised to see how much money was made off of those chocolate chip cookies though. Read about that and the other top vendors below.

If you’re craving some cookies, a pronto pup, or anything else on a stick you don’t have to wait until August. The Minnesota State Fair is actually holding a special kickoff to the summer event in May that will feature food, drinks, live music, and more.

Minnesota State Fair Kick Off To Summer

The Minnesota State Fair Kickoff to Summer will be May 26-30. The event will feature food, drinks, shopping, live music, and family fun.

“Last year’s (2021) Kickoff to Summer was even more popular than we had hoped it would be.  People really enjoyed getting together for a little slice of the fair, and we’re happy to bring the event back this year.” -State Fair General Manager Jerry Hammer
