Body Found in Minnesota Pond Believed to be Missing Autistic Child
Eden Prairie, MN (KROC-AM News)- The search effort to find a missing Minnesota child is believed to have reached a tragic conclusion.

The Eden Prairie Police Department announced a search for a missing autistic boy around 9:15 Sunday night.
Police said 11-year-old Mohamed Mohamed was last seen in the area of his home on Cardiff Ln. around 5:45 p.m. on Sunday.
Authorities deployed search teams, K-9 units, drones and a State Patrol Helicopter to try and find the missing child. They also asked residents in the area to search their properties.
Police: Body Found in Eden Prairie Pond Believed to Be Missing Autistic 11-Year-Old Boy
About 90 minutes after announcing the search, officials reported locating a body around 9:30 p.m. in a pond near the boy’s residence.
Police say the body found in the pond matched the description of Mohamed. Law enforcement also expressed its condolences to Mohamed’s family and friends.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has been tasked with officially identifying the child’s body and determining his cause and manner of death.
