(UPDATED) Missing Eagan Woman Found Safe
UPDATE - The Eagan Police Department has notified the BCA that Dorothy Hoffman has been located and she is safe.
Eagan, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued a statewide endangered missing person alert for an elderly Twin Cities woman who could be traveling through southeastern Minnesota.
In requesting the public's assistance, the Eagan Police Department says 86-year-old Dorothy Hoffman was last seen Thursday evening in the Lake Mills, Iowa area. It's believed she is likely confused and may not know how to get to her home in the Twin Cities.
The alert notes that she does not have her cell phone with her. She was last seen driving a 2012 grey Toyota Camry with Minnesota license plate DJN027.
She is described as white, about 5 foot 3, 128 pounds, with grey hair and blue eyes. Anyone who spots Dorothy or has information about her whereabouts is asked to call 911.
