Update: Body Found in Wooded Area Near Rochester Airport Identified as Missing Woman

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Police say a missing woman was spotted in the city recently.

A post published on the department’s Facebook page on Monday is asking for the public’s help with finding her.

The Missing Person Alert identifies the woman as 28-year-old Feroza Sherzai.

Missing 28-Year-Old Woman Spotted on Foot Near Rochester Airport, Public Assistance Requested

Police say Sherzai was last seen on January 17 walking in the area of the Hwy. 63 and County Rd. 16/Hwy. 30 interchange, which is near the Rochester Airport.

Authorities believe she is traveling to the state of Virginia. Sherzai is described 5’2”, 145 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says she wearing a green shirt and black fur coat. Serzai is from Virginia, the state investigative agency says.

Rochester police are asking anyone who has information on Serzai’s whereabouts to contact 911 or the Rochester Police Department at (507) 328-6800.
