More snow headed to MN’s North Shore

Residents living in Minnesota’s North Shore area are facing another spring winter storm. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for an area from Ely on the west to Grand Marais on the east that will be in effect through tomorrow.

An advisory will be in effect for much of the remainder of the North Shore, although Duluth is not included at this time. Snowfall totals in the affected areas could be in the 2 - 11 inch range.

Rain is expected across southeast Minnesota today with up to an inch or more in some areas.
