
Motorcyclist Injured in Alcohol-Involved Motorcycle Crash at Rochester Roundabout
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- A motorcyclist was brought to a hospital after crashing at a Rochester roundabout intersection.

That’s according to the State Patrol which responded to the motorcycle crash shortly after 7:00 Saturday evening.
The motorcyclist was the only person involved.

Rochester Man Hurt in Motorcycle Crash at Hwy. 63 Roundabout, Alcohol Use Suspected
The crash happened at the intersection of Hwy. 63 and 18th Ave. NW just north of Rochester.
The motorcycle operator was heading east when he lost control and crashed, according to the state crash report.
Motorcyclist Identified as Rochester Man
42-year-old Jerrod Lawrence Vandal of Rochester was identified as the motorcycle driver.

He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was brought to St. Mary’s Hospital for further care, the State Patrol says.
Vandal was not wearing a helmet and was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, the state crash report indicates.

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash.
