Wabasha, MN (KROC-AM News)- A southeast Minnesota motorcycle crash resulted in a trip to the hospital for a Freeborn County teen.

The State Patrol responded to the crash shortly after 6:15 Saturday evening. He was the only person involved.

Wabasha Crash Sends 19-Year-Old Motorcyclist to the Hospital

The motorcycle crash occurred on Hwy. 60 just west of Wabasha. 

The motorcyclist was traveling west when he left the curvy, two-lane highway and struck a guardrail, according to the state crash report. 

19-year-old Noah Allen Raatz of Glenville was identified as the motorcycle operator. He was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester with non-life-threatening injuries, the State Patrol says.

He was wearing a helmet and was not under the influence of alcohol, the state crash report indicates. 

Mayo One Helicopter Responds to Motorcycle Crash Scene

Mayo One helicopter responded to the crash scene, however the report does not say if Raatz was flown to Rochester or transported by ground ambulance. 

The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha Police Department and Wabasha Ambulance also responded to the motorcycle crash.
