NEW YORK (Gophersports.com) - Four Gophers scored in double figures as the Minnesota men's basketball team dropped a neutral-site contest to No. 22 Ohio State, 67-49, on Saturday afternoon at Madison Square Garden.

The game was part of the BTN Super Saturday doubleheader that features college basketball and hockey on the same day at the World's Most Famous Arena.

Minnesota fell to 14-8, 3-6 in Big Ten Conference play, while the Buckeyes improved to 8-0 in conference and 17-4 overall.

Junior forward Jordan Murphy led the team with 13 points, while senior guard Nate Mason and sophomore guard Amir Coffey each chipped in 11 points. Coffey made his return to the lineup after missing the previous five games due to a shoulder injury. Junior guard Dupree McBrayer, a Queens native playing for the first time in the Garden, added 10 points.

Keita Bates-Diop led the way for the Buckeyes with 17 points and 12 rebounds.

The Gophers return to action on Tuesday, hosting Northwestern at 8:00 p.m. CT.
