Body of Runaway Twin Cities Teen Believed to Have Been Found in Minnesota Wooded Area
Maple Grove, MN (KROC-AM News)- Officials in the Twin Cities say a body found in a wooded area is believed to be a runaway teen.

That’s according to a news release issued by the Maple Grove Police Department Wednesday evening. Officers responded to the report of a deceased person around 2:00 Wednesday afternoon.
The body discovery came about seven hours after Maple Grove police issued a request for public assistance with locating a runaway 17-year-old boy.
A previous news release says police were looking for Nathaniel Chambers, who was last seen leaving his home in Maple Grove on a bicycle around 7:00 on the evening of August 11.
Police said at the time that Chambers was not believed to be in immediate danger but that his family was concerned by the length of his absence.
Body Found in Wooded Area Believed to be Runaway Maple Grove Teenager
On Wednesday, authorities announced the discovery of a body in a wooded area in the 7200 block of Teakwood Ln. in Maple Grove. The most recent news release says investigators believe the body found was Chambers.
Police found the teen’s body about a mile from Chambers’s home. Investigators have asked the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the body and determine the cause and manner of death.
The Facebook page Minnesota Untied, which aims to reunite missing people with their families, says the body found was Chambers. Authorities say no criminal activity is suspected at this time.
