NW Rochester Crash Results in Life-Threatening Injuries
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Rochester Police say one person was severely injured in a collision this afternoon in northwest Rochester.
A spokesperson says the crash was reported around 12:50 PM on West Circle Drive near the intersection with 41st Street Northwest. The preliminary investigation found the collision occurred when a northbound vehicle on West Circle Drive attempted a left turn and wound up in the path of a southbound vehicle.
The southbound vehicle then crashed into a utility pole.
Rochester Police reported both drivers were transported to St. Mary's Hospital. One was suffering from life-threatening injuries and the other had what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.
The names of the injured motorists have not been released. Police say there were no passengers in the vehicles.
