One Minnesotan wins $500,000 – Other Lottery Jackpots Creeping Up
Undated, MN (KROC AM News) – Ears are perking up across the country as lottery jackpots begin to cross the $300 million mark.
The Mega Millions and the Powerball jackpots continue to rise as again nobody won the grand prize, both have or are close to cracking that $300 million mark.
The Mega Millions Jackpot is estimated to be at $316 million ($195.5 cash) for the next drawing Tuesday, while the Powerball jackpot is estimated to be at $250 million ($156.3 cash) for the next drawing, which will be on Wednesday, May 15th.
One Minnesotan was lucky enough to win $500,000 after playing $500,000 Ultimate. The scratch-off ticket cost $20 and Kris Papulas from Webster, Minnesota was the $500,000 winner.
