Open House for Highway 63 project

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The public is invited to learn more about the Highway 63 construction project from Stewartville south to Highway 16 in Mower County.

The open house is scheduled from 4:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 23, at the Stewartville Civic Center, which is at the corner of Highway 63 and 30.

The contractor, Rochester Sand & Gravel, will lead the meeting and discuss timelines, detours and traffic plans for the $4.9 million project, which is scheduled to begin May 19. The project includes a portion of Stewartville and about 10 miles of roadway to Highway 16. The project is expected to be completed in late summer.
