Owatonna, MN (KROC-AM News)- The State Patrol has identified the southern Minnesota woman who lost her life in a crash on Interstate 35.

First responders were dispatched to the deadly collision shortly before 8:00 Wednesday evening. The State Patrol indicates two vehicles were involved in the fatality

The drivers were the only occupants of the vehicles.

Woman Killed in I-35 Crash ID'D as 40-Year-Old Owatonna Resident

The state crash report says a car and pickup that were heading north collided about 10 miles south of Owatonna

On Thursday afternoon the State Patrol identified the driver of the car as 40-year-old Jennifer Ann Parsons of Owatonna.

She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the updated state crash report

99-Year-Old Pickup driver unharmed

33-year-old Bradly Allen Wear of Ellendale was identified as the pickup driver. He was not injured according to the State Patrol.

Both drivers were buckled up and alcohol was not suspected of being involved in the fatality, the state crash report says. 

The Steele County Sheriff’s Office and Owatonna Fire Department also responded to the fatal crash.
