Pedestrian Critically Injured on Minnesota Freeway
Bloomington, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has released the name of a pedestrian who was struck by an SUV on I-35W in the Twin Cities this morning.
The news release says 29-year-old Khalid Mohamed Muridi was seen running across lanes of traffic and up a hill on the freeway in Bloomington before he turned around and began running down the hill. The State Patrol says he was attempting to cross the middle lane when he was hit by the SUV around 6 AM.
Muridi was rushed by ambulance to the Hennepin County Medical Center. His injuries were described as life threatening.

The State Patrol says the 39-year-old Bloomington woman driving the SUV was not injured.
