
Police Investigating Fatal Shooting in Austin – 2nd Man Injured
Austin, MN (KROC-AM News) - Agents from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension were dispatched Saturday afternoon to Austin to assist in the investigation into a fatal shooting.
A press release issued by the Austin Police Department indicates officers responded to the 1100 block of 5th Avenue Northwest shortly after 1:30 PM and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The statement says the shooting victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Austin police say another injured man was delivered to the Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital in Austin by a private vehicle. Information about that individual's injuries is not available.

The name of the shooting victim and other details about the incident have not been released.
