Police Investigating Rochester Restaurant Burglary
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Police are investigating a burglary reported at a Rochester restaurant over the weekend.
Rochester Police Captain Casey Moilanen said the break-in was reported shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of North Broadway Ave. He said a passing motorist reported the burglary after noticing the front window of the building appeared to have been broken out.
Officers arrived at the scene and confirmed a front window at Pho Chau had been busted. Police say an employee and co-owner were inside of the building when they arrived.
No one else was in the area. The co-owner and employee reported a safe was missing.
Moilanen said the suspected break-in is believed to have occurred between 9 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Saturday. So far no arrests have been made.
