Police Investigate Shooting in Southeast Rochester
Update: Two Arrested Following Exchange of Gunfire at Rochester Apartment Complex Tuesday
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - (UPDATE)
Rochester Police spokesperson Amanda Grayson say no one was injured by today's shooting at Homestead Village Apartments. Grayson says the shooting was reported to law enforcement dispatchers about 6:10 PM between 2 buildings at the apartment complex. An apartment building and a vehicle were struck by the gunfire. A number of spent shell casings were recovered at the scene. Grayson indicated one person was taken into custody.

Police responded to a reported shooting in southeast Rochester this evening.
Law enforcement radio traffic indicates the gunfire was reported shortly after 6 PM in the vicinity of the Homestead Village Apartments complex. Initial reports had officers looking for a possible suspect who was seen running from the area in the direction of Highway 14.
It's unclear if anyone was injured in the incident. Emergency responders were told to stage at the nearby Cub Foods location.
