Prostitution Sting Nets Rochester Area Men

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Several area men were arrested Monday as part of a Rochester police prostitution sting.

Police Capt. John Sherwin says all responded to an online ad posted by his officers.

Arrested were:

Olmsted County

31-year-old James Bacon and 39-year-old Nicholas Severson of Pine Island, 44-year-old Ricardo Rivas of Mantorville, and 37-year-old Timothy Vonneupert of New Prague. Two other men - one from Florida, the other from Massachusetts - were also arrested.

A very similar sting was carried out last year.
