Renewed Interest in 2020 Minnesota Missing Person Case

Alexandria,  MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota Department of Public Safety is turning the spotlight on a missing person's case from 2020.

State officials are requesting that anyone with information concerning the whereabouts of Melissa Christina Burt contact the Douglas County Sheriff's Office or leave a tip anonymously through the Minnesota Crimestoppers website. Burt, whose maiden name was Woodworth, was last seen getting into an RV in Alexandria on November 7, 2020.

Her current age is 55 years old. She is a member of the Leech Lake band of Ojibway and has brown eyes and brown hair. The state agency says, at the time of her disappearance, she was 5 foot six and weighed about 140 pounds.
