Minneapolis (Learfield News Service) -  A University of Minnesota professor has resigned after a domestic assault conviction and an investigation of questionable spending.

Forty-eight-year-old Aaron Doering had been on paid leave for the last 11 months after he was accused of dragging and choking his former girlfriend. Two other women had accused him of domestic abuse in the past, according to a report by KSTP 5 Eyewitness News
