Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A manhunt is underway in the Rochester area for a suspect who fled Olmsted County deputies during an attempted vehicle stop Tuesday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office says 35-year-old Luke Hottel was spotted in a vehicle that was driving on Highway 14 west of Rochester around 11:30 AM. Instead of pulling over, the driver headed east to West Circle Dr where the vehicle exited. The deputies decided to end the pursuit due to public safety concerns and the Sheriff’s Office is now asking the public’s help in trying to locate Hottel.

He is wanted for a recent felony terroristic threats case.

Also being sought is the driver of the vehicle, believed to be a criminal associate of Hottel.
