Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester businessman was arraigned today in Olmsted County Court on a felony assault charge.

Charged With Domestic Incident Involving Gun

Court records indicate that 34-year-old Jordan Michael Kilian is charged with second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon in connection with an incident in rural northwest Rochester on Monday. He also faces a misdemeanor count of domestic assault.

According to the criminal complaint against Kilian, Olmsted County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a report of an assault at a home in Cascade Township. A responding deputy indicated that he met with an adult woman who shares the home with her children and Kilian, whom she described as her ex-fiancé.

Woman Describes Alleged Assault at Cascade Township Home

The court document says she told the deputy that she and Kilian were going through a breakup and that she heard Kilian and her current boyfriend arguing Monday evening. She alleges that Kilian grabbed her by the face and pushed her against the exterior of the home and then shoved her into the decorative rocks bordering the home before leaving in a friend's vehicle.

Man Tells Deputies He Was Threatened With a Handgun

The criminal complaint says the deputy then spoke with the boyfriend, who stated that he was asleep in an upstairs bedroom when he woke up to the sound of a handgun slide being racked. The charges say the man then opened his eyes and saw Kilian pointing a handgun at his face while ordering him to leave the house.

Kilian owns and operates three vehicle repair and maintenance businesses in Rochester.

His conditional bail was set at $15,000.
