Rochester Chamber Head Running For City Council President

Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The current head of the Rochester Area Chamber of Commerce is running for Rochester City Council President.

Kathleen Harrington today announced her candidacy for the seat currently held by Randy Staver. She is the third candidate for the at-large position and her candidacy sets up the first local primary race for the fall election. Brooke Carlson and Greg Munson previously filed as candidates for the same post. The primary election will be held on August 11th.

Staver has yet to announce whether he plans to run for re-election.
