Rochester Home Invasion Suspects Arrested
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two men are in custody as suspects in a recent Rochester home invasion.
Police Captain John Sherwin says 20-year-old Adrick Mims and 19-year-old Yasin Sufi were identified as suspects in last Tuesday’s incident at The Edge Apartments complex near the RCTC campus.
They were apprehended in Shakopee on Friday and are expected to face aggravated robbery charges in Olmsted County Court this week.
The incident involved three RCTC students who told police two men entered an apartment and one pointed a gun at the victims and demanded money.
When the victims said they had no money, the intruders took a phone, a watch and other property and left. One of the suspects was wearing the stolen watch when he was arrested. Other stolen items were also found in their vehicle.
