Rochester Man Accused of Selling Painkillers
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man suspected of selling large amounts of painkillers in the city was busted Thursday.
Authorities say 48-year-old Amir Sabackic had been the focus of an undercover investigation.
Officers pulled his car over and searched the vehicle. They found some prescription drugs in the vehicle and more than 300 other pills at his home at 625 Seventh Ave. S.E., near Riverside school.
The drugs - mostly opioids - had an estimated value of $10,000. Also found at the home were 23 guns and more than $17,000 in cash.
Sabackic is facing drug and other charges, including child endangerment. Police say three children between the ages of 3 and 13 had been living in the home.
