Minneapolis, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man was arrested today and is expected to be arraigned before a federal magistrate in the Twin Cities tomorrow on a federal arson charge stemming from the rioting that took place in Minneapolis following the death of George Floyd.

The US Attorney for Minnesota says 25-year-old Montez Lee is accused of starting the fire in a pawnshop in Minneapolis. The charges say investigators from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives received an anonymous video showing a masked man pouring liquid from a metal container throughout the business. A second video shows Lee standing in front of the burning pawnshop saying "We're gonna burn this (expletive} down.

A news release says the charges are the result of a joint investigation by the ATF, the FBI, Minneapolis Police, the Rochester Police Department, and the State Fire Marshal's Office.
