Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A 62-year-old Rochester man has been charged with second-degree assault and two other felonies for allegedly stabbing his brother in the hand.

A Rochester police spokesman says officers responded to reports of a domestic dispute Wednesday afternoon in the 400 block of 14th Street Southeast. They found a 63-year-old man with a wound on his hand caused by a knife. Despite the injury, the victim did not want to be transported to the hospital.

Police say William Mcanally, was found in a bedroom at the residence and refused to come out. Police ended up using pepper balls to force him out of the room and take him into custody.
