Rochester Man Facing Even More Child Pornography Charges

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - Another criminal case has been opened against a Rochester man who is already facing a long list of child pornography charges.

More than 40 charges were filed earlier this year against 26-year-old Akardy Pichurin.  

He is now facing four more felony charges, including counts of using a minor in a sexual performance and soliciting a minor to engage in sexual conduct.

These and the earlier charges were based on a child pornography investigation that led to the seizure and search of his devices that contained a large number of child pornography images and videos that included conversations between Pichurin and children. Investigators were able to identify one of the victims as a preteen girl from New York State.

He has been ordered to make his first court appearance on the new charges next month.
