Blue Earth, MN (KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol is indicating alcohol was involved in an incident late last night at a rest area along I-90 that sent a Rochester man to the hospital.

The report on the incident filed by the State Patrol says 57-year-old Glenn Abbott was driving west on I-90 when he entered a rest area just west of Blue Earth around 11:30 p.m. It says Abbott then went to exit his car but it was still in motion and the vehicle ended up crashing into a wooded area.

He was transported to the Blue Earth Hospital to be treated for what the State Patrol described as non-life-threatening injuries.
