Rochester Man Sentenced to Jail and Probation for Child Sex Abuse
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to 25 years on probation for a child sex abuse conviction.
44-year-old Bradley Zillgitt has also been ordered to spend 3 months in jail. He pleaded guilty in September to a second-degree criminal sexual conduct charge through a plea agreement that resulted in the dismissal of first and third-degree criminal sexual conduct charges and a count of indecent exposure.
The charges alleged Zillgitt sexually abused and sexually assaulted a young child over a five-year period beginning in 2001 when the victim was 11 or 12 years old. The criminal complaint also alleged he may have used a cell phone to send the victim lewd photographs while he was in the military and deployed overseas.
