Communications Coordinator Amanda Grayson says officers were dispatched to the convenience store to assist with a fire call shortly before 1:30 Sunday afternoon.
The call came from the Marathon gas station at the corner of 4th St. and 11th Ave. Southeast. Responding officers found one of the pumps at the station had been knocked over and was engulfed in flames, Grayson says.

Police then cleared the gas station and ensured no one else was inside, Grayson said. Video of the incident shows a Jeep entering the store’s parking lot and running over the pump.
Flames are then seen coming from an area between the pump and the vehicle’s grill. The vehicle is then seen backing up and driving away.
Grayson says officers obtained the vehicle’s information and found it at the registered owner’s address.
It had damage that was consistent with a description provided by witnesses, according to the police report.
Grayson says the driver was cited for driving after revocation and failure to provide insurance. Police did not release the driver's name.
A damage estimate is not available. No injuries were reported.
