Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Rochester Police Department this morning released the name of the man who was murdered Friday afternoon near the Rochester Community and Technical College campus.

24-year-old Trevor Boysen was fatally shot in the parking lot of The Quarters of Rochester Apartments around 2 PM.  Police Captain Casey Moilanen previously stated officers responded to the property just west of the  RCTC campus after receiving reports from people who heard gunshots and found the Rochester man lying on the pavement. Witnesses were able to provide investigators with a description of a man seen running away from the area, which led to the arrest of 18-year-old Robert Salley Jr. of Rochester. He was captured and the suspected murder weapon was recovered less than an hour after the deadly shooting after he was tracked to an area along Marion Road Southeast near the Oak Terrace Estate mobile home park.

Salley is being held at the Olmsted County Adult Detention Center. Captain Moilanen's statement issued Friday night indicated he is expected to be charged with second-degree murder and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
