
Rochester Police Investigating Shooting at Olmsted County Fairgrounds
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Police are investigating a shooting that was reported at the Olmsted County Fairgrounds over the holiday weekend.

Police Captain Casey Moilanen said officers were dispatched to the Graham Arena area of the property at 1570 Fairgrounds Ave. Southeast shortly after 10 p.m. Saturday. Upon arrival officers reported seeing a fight outside of the event space that dispersed once they got to the scene.
Witnesses reported hearing three gunshots. Moilanen said it appears no one was hit by the gunfire.
Officers did not find any shell casings in the area of the reported shooting but did report a bullet appeared to have struck the radiator of a Volkswagen Jetta that was at the scene.
Moilanen says the individuals engaged in the altercation ranged from 15 to 20 years old and that the fight broke out after several Quinceaneras that were happening on the grounds.
Investigators believe there was one shooter. Moilanen said so far no arrests have been made.
