Rochester, MN  (KROC AM News) - A Rochester man spent the July 4th holiday in the Olmsted County jail after being busted for drugs.

Police officers executed a search warrant Tuesday at the man’s residence at 1723 20th Ave SE. Officers found 50 grams of cocaine at the home, along with two young children. 

Arrested was 35-year-old Samuel Martinez-Muniz. Interim Police Chief John Sherwin says he admitted selling drugs.

Sherwin also said during the raid, officers were forced to use fire extinguishers on two “mean” dogs that were in the home.
