Rochester Police Report Another Theft of Car That Was Warming Up
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - There’s another report of a car that was stolen while its Rochester owner was warming it up.
The latest call made to the Rochester Police Dept. came in around 8:00 AM Friday from a home near the Boys and Girls Club.
The owner said the car was in a garage when it was stolen.
The RPD recently issued an advisory about the risk of leaving keys in an unlocked vehicle while the motor is running after several owners called to report their vehicles had been stolen. One of those was also stolen while in a garage.
