Rochester Police Report Mail Thefts in Southwest Neighborhood

Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) – An alert for residents in a southwest Rochester neighborhood.

The Rochester Police Dept. has recently heard from residents in the Meadow Run neighborhood about mail thefts.

Lt. Frank Ohm says the thefts mainly involved outgoing mail from unsecured curbside mailboxes. Ohm says the department recommends following the advice of the US Postal Service: when sending mail, the most secure place to mail a package or letter is directly at your local Post Office or other secure mail drop-off sites.
