Rochester Police Revive Woman from Suspected Heroin Overdose
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Rochester Police revived a woman from a suspected drug overdose over the weekend.
Rochester Police Captain Casey Moilanen says officers were dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of 3rd Ave. Northeast on the report of an unresponsive woman lying on the floor of the residence. Officers responded shortly after 9:20 p.m. on Friday.
Upon arrival officers found the woman still unresponsive on the floor. Moilanen said the woman was given two doses of Narcan then regained consciousness.
She was taken by ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital for further treatment. Moilanen said the woman admitted to using heroin prior to losing consciousness. The woman's name has not been released.
