Rochester Police Round Up Another Home Invasion Suspect
Rochester, MN (KROC AM News) - A fourth person has been arrested as a suspect in last week’s reported home invasion in Rochester.
Officers took 24-year-old Trevor Boysen into custody while he was meeting with his probation officer Monday afternoon. Police say Boysen “ is homeless living in the Rochester area.”
Boysen is expected to face the same charges as the three other suspects who were arrested a few hours after the Thursday night incident. Those three - 19-year-old Ngor Mabor, 18-year-old Mohamed Mohamed and 18-year-old Nelson Soro - were arraigned Monday on assault, burglary and robbery charges.
The incident happened Thursday night at the Eastwood Ridge apartments complex in the 3000 block of Towne Club Parkway SE.
Police Capt. Casey Moilanen says a 19-year-old who lives in one of the apartments called 911 to report the violent incident. The teen said he had lined up a marijuana purchase with Soro. The teen told officers Soro and the other suspects burst into the apartment and two of them had guns. One of the intruders hit a 20-year-old female over the head with a hard object and she was later taken to St. Marys Hospital.
Police continue looking for another suspect.
