Authorities deployed a SWAT team due to the suspect’s violent history, according to the Plainview Police Chief.

Plainview, MN (KROC-AM News)- A suspect involved in a recent Rochester robbery was arrested in Plainview on Tuesday.

That’s according to limited information released by Plainview Police Chief Jason Timm. He said a SWAT team was involved in the arrest.

Plainview Police and SWAT Team Involved in Arrest of Rochester Armed Robbery Suspect

Timm says Plainview officers assisted Rochester police with executing search warrants related to an armed robbery that occurred in Rochester two weeks ago. 

Authorities deployed a SWAT team due to the suspect’s violent history, according to the Plainview Police Chief. 

Rochester police have not released any information about the armed robbery

Timm said the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Officials did not say where authorities executed the warrants. 

The name of the suspect has not been released.
